Throughout the years, few actors have accomplished as much in their careers as Jack Nicholson has. In the 1970s, he won audiences over; in the 1980s, he continued to star in classic movies and has continued the trend through the 90s and beyond.
The following movies are my favorite films starring the great Jack Nicholson.
The first movie I will mention is his most recently awesome movie, which was The Departed. It is hard to believe that director Martin Scorsese had never won an Academy Award for Best Director prior to this film.
The quintessential Jack Nicholson film that has to be mentioned in this article is One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest. This is as classic as films get, and it comes as no surprise that it is ranked as a top 10 film of all time according to the Internet movie database.
Another classic Jack Nicholson film is of course, The Shining. I don’t think audiences realized how scary Jack could be prior to this Stanley Kubrick iconic horror film. If you are a fan of a genre, this is one of the most important films to see. Read more...

For a very long time games have been unfairly criticized for a very long time as they have been seen as turning people into couch potatoes and discouraging real physical activity. The main criticism against games are that there is no physically opponent and there is no social relations that are being developed.
One of the things most often argued is that video games can severyly disrupt sleep and result in very erratic sleep as they can be played at any time of the day or night. It is however medically proven that players can learn a lot from playing various games. It has been shown that some of the games like Metal Gear and others put players in realistic war like scenarios. The players then need to use all their wits to solve the logic and strategic problems they face.
Games like Simcity and Civilization require the players to manage a city or a whole civilization. Then there are games like Chibi-Robo which can imbibe basic family values in the player as they require keeping a house clean and also maintain a family happy. Games such as these are likely to have a last effecting on the child as the content is packaged in a format with which the child can easily relate to. Games like Tactical Iraqi have been set in realistic scenarios and require the player to learn the Iraqi language without offending the Iraqi culture thereby sensitizing people about the need to appreciate ones language, culture and preferences. There’s not much to say when you see a big add in the paper saying: Learn Japanese in one week, expect for smiling. Learning a new language is a project that takes a lot of time and we are all looking for various ways to reduce this time.
But still, 7 days ? Regardless of my opinion, if you are looking for methods that reduce the learning time of a new language to a week or two, you’d better stop looking because there are no such methods, not for normal people that don’t suffer from any diseases (like autism, because autism present a bigger learning capacity of words and numbers). The only way is to learn the language properly and in time.
The best way to learn a new language is online. That doesn’t mean that a class lesson can not teach you as much as online lessons, but in that case you have to actually go there and be on time. It’s tough to actually go to these classes when you are already in a hurry. If you decide to learn a new language online then all these worries disappear. When you feel like learning you can simply click and continue the lesson you started yesterday. Read more...

The days of the desktop computer are officially behind me, and I think they’re done for good. This wasn’t always the case, as I was a devout desktop user up until a few years ago. Things changed once I finally got a laptop.
Even though I find myself using my bigger computer from time to time, the laptop is definitely king in my world. It’s so easy to bring it with me when I leave my apartment, and I never have any issues transporting it.
If I’m on the road, all of my work comes with me. I can also listen to any music or watch any videos saved on my computer, as it’s all up to me and easy to access.
Still, there’s one thing that always gets to me, and that’s the fact that it gets extremely hot when it’s on and sitting atop my lap. I’ve never been able to get used to that, and spent a long time struggling with this issue.
I’ve read reports online that say it may be bad for your health, and potentially even damaging to your sperm count. When I’m in bed, I find that it gets so hot that to the point where it’s uncomfortable in my bed and I can’t fall asleep because of it. Read more...

Self-consciousness- How will you suppose, let alone write, when all you may handle to do is pry the fingers of writer’s block away out of your throat sufficient so you possibly can gasp in a number of shallow breaths? You aren’t specializing in what you are trying to write down, your focusing on these gnarly fingers round your windpipe.
Shattered focus- You might be cat is sick. You suspect your mate is dishonest on you. Your electricity is likely to be turned off any second. You’ve a crush on the local ups delivery man. You’ve a dinner party deliberate for your in laws. You need I say more. How can you presumably focus with all this mental litter?
Procrastination- It’s your favorite hobby. It’s your soul mate. It?s the reason you have knitted 60 argyle sweaters or made 300 bookcases in your garage workshop. It’s the reason you never run out of Brie. Read more...
